Future Legendz gives students and young people real exposure to the skilled trades by documenting the people, projects, tools, decisions, and opportunities behind the work.
Future Legendz is Local Service Legendz’s workforce storytelling initiative. We create field-based stories that help young people see careers in construction, plumbing, electrical, pest control, infrastructure, transportation, and other skilled-trade fields in a way that brochures and career fairs rarely can.
The goal is simple: make the work visible enough that a young person can imagine themselves doing it.
Students see active jobsites, equipment, workflows, and problem-solving up close.
Experienced tradespeople share what the work actually requires, what they have learned, and how they built their careers.
Stories connect exposure to training, mentorship, employers, associations, and opportunities to take the next step.
Young people cannot seriously consider careers they have never seen. Future Legendz is designed to close that visibility gap by putting skilled work in front of students through stories that feel immediate, human, and real.
A career becomes possible when someone can finally picture themselves inside it.
1. Access: Local Service Legendz partners with contractors, employers, associations, schools, workforce organizations, and community leaders.
2. Experience: Students get exposure to real environments, projects, and professionals.
3. Story: We document the experience so one visit can reach far beyond the people who were physically there.
4. Next Step: The story points interested students toward pathways to learn more, train, or connect.
Future Legendz is growing into a regional storytelling and exposure platform for the skilled trades. The long-term vision is to connect students with industries, employers, training programs, mentors, and opportunities while building a media archive that shows what these careers actually look like.
That work starts locally, one student, one company, and one story at a time.
